Another Kennedy for Senate?

She would not be a good choice to replace Hillary since she aggresively campaigned against her during the Democratic primaries. This would be an insult to Hillary, and I hope it does not come to pass.

I may have to move to New York if they have Caroline as their senator--my admiration for her has no bounds.

I agree. Even though I'm not a Kennedy fan I think her appointment would be great. Back to some roots and forward for America.

Caroline Kennedy has LIVED in New York FAR more years then Hillary Clinton.

She is smart, her children are grown, she has been on the campaign trail for others, and she knows Washington and its politics.

It would NICE to see New York have a Senator that has really lived there, instead of Clinton who moved there because she was promised this race.

I am not a Clinton fan, I will admit that. She acts like she is entitled to anything from the Dems, because her husband was once President. I just don't like her attitude, but I do like Ms. Kennedy.

I am not questioning Caroline Kennedy's intellect
nor whether she can fill the Senate seat adequately.
I do think, however, that it may be time to cut out
of the Kennedy mistique....I am personally getting
tired of these "dynasty" factors....doesn't New York
have other capable people to fill Hillary's spot?
Also....someone who campaigned so strongly against
Hillary and who is so "close" to Obama...will she
continue to undermine Hillary who has every chance
of becoming the most capable Secretary of State of
our era.

WHY, just because she is a Kennedy????? Not ever family member has the same intelligence, so don't assume she can do the job. Besides she wants change that is why she supported Obama, so let a brand new person with NO baggage get an opportunity to work to help this country, So far I see no reason to keep electing the same people, they are not doing anything or we would not be in a recession. It is as obvious as the noise on your face we need to get rid of the old family ties, we don't own them anything. There are plenty of smart people out there to do the job, just let them try.

I think she could fine many other causes to live up to the Kennedy name. I would be afraid there is just one more nut out there to keep JFK's daughter out of Washington. Enjoy the family Caroline, it all goes by to fast.

people are losing their homes, going bankrupt, while the Big ZERO has 30 million dollars left over from his campaign that he does not know what he is going to do with.

imagine if he went to Bill Gates, and the other rich people who put him in office, and asked them to match his money, then they used it to send a stimulus check out to the hardworking, public, like before christmas,

So let's get this straight - it is OK with the conservatives that the Bush legacy will stay alive with Jeb maybe running for Senate in Florida in 2010, and there are other Bushes on the horizon...but the Kennedy dynasty needs to end?? Nah, no partisanship here at all...

No,No,No...not another Kennedy in politics. There seem to be no end to this family. I thought that we had seen the end of the Kennedys in public office..but no,they seem to be coming out of the wood-work. Let her go back to riding her bike with her kids in the woods( no carbon foot-print there ). Where does she think that she has the experience to take Hillarys'seat?
