Damn right our policies are fueling tons of resentment in the Islamic world. Look at what we did to Iran in 1953 is having a negative affect on us today. Had we not overthrown the democratically elected government, would we would've had the current so called "rogue" nation that we have today? What about our dealings in the so called "peace process"? Everybody knows that the United States is clearly on the side of the Jews. Never mind the fact that Zionists, during the British Mandate, employed the same terrorist tactics against the Arab population that groups like HAMAS, Fatah, and Hezbollah are doing now.

Most people in this country believe the neo-con bull$hit that they hate us for our freedoms. How dumb is that? No, they hate us because we've done all that we can to abridge theirs

Wrong, almurabit. It is not US policy that fuels terror. It is more than 700 years of non-stop violence. Unless and until muslims decide they want to join with the West in building a real future for their children - nothing will change. It isn't about being a neo-con. Muslim extremists will never be able to murder & jihad their way out of the abyss. And the rest of us do not have to accept murder and genocide as "political expression."

When you make it an avowed policy to preemptively invade, bomb, and militarily run roughshod over the rest of the world, you just might make some enemies. It is amazing how the US went from being admired under Clinton to being utterly detested under Bush/cheney.

US policies offend the rest of the world. the US has no business to have its military spread across the world. what is the purpose? does the US really think its keeping some sort of peace? not only that, but it is unconstitutionally taxing its citizens and borrowing against the future to pay for these wars. heres an idea. bring all the troops home, all the countries to control their own oil for once, which will shorten oil supply and make oil prices skyrocket(trust me this is good) so that the price of gasoline gets up to $5-6 a gallon, driving sales through the floor and force oil/gas companies to choose some other way to financially rape its people other than at the pump? maybe this time theyll pick something a bit greener since theres so much pressure to do so these days.

People of Islam are not the problem. Thats nonsense perpetuated by Jewish media who lobby for Israel. Israel is, by the way, in the midst of turning the Palestinians into modern day Native Americans. Nobody cares about that do they? Think of the US before the 20th century. did we have problems with anyone Muslims? not really. Dont drink the Matzah flavored Koolaid. Do some real research instead of listening to FOX&CNN.

What happened to the Republic is that a bunch of you Marxist communist pukes came in and took over the education system and brainwashed the students. Then those students went on to become legislators, judges, etc.

Then you stirred up the Indians and told them that this is really their land and they should take it back. Then you went to the Mexicans and told them that this is really their land and they should take it back.

Then you inflitered into the churches and began teaching that "Jesus" Loves everyone regardless of what they do and everyone is the same.

Then you Marxist Communists began tearing down every Moral Law that was established from the beginning of this nation and replacing it with the "individual inherent right of freedom" with absolutely no moral restrictions.

You have fought against America at every turn since condemning us for fighting Hitler in World War II, Then Korea, Then Viet Nam, and now against every endeavor this nation is attempting to accomplish.

My question is; Why in the Hell isn't people like you in prison for Treason!!!!!!!!

I think Deepak Chopra is mistaken. The bombing in Mumbai is just more of the conflict between the two nuclear powers, India and Pakistan. They cannot get together on Kashmir. It's true that the Bush Administration has given the rest of the world the finger and said, "We will do what we damn well please," but that should not excuse terrorists from responsibility for their actions. The United States has been good to Deepak Chopra so I think he owes the American people an apology.

Wow! The snow and cold must have frozen the liberal minds in Maine, North and South Dakota. Maine is one of the most backward states in the union. The Democrats have taken that state to new lows.

More likely, it has to do with our government meddling in their country's affairs. We need to bring our service people home, out of the countries that they presently are stationed in, cut foreign aid, and quit paying for the defense of any and all countries but our OWN!!! And quit meddling in others' affairs!!!

Steve let me make a fast example of you theory. There was a time when if a man (USA) saw another man (OTHER COUNTRIES) beating his wife he would go over and nock the dudes teeth out. But now that same man wants to go over and tell the other guy how bad he is being and that he needs to change. Witch in turn gives the other guy the chance to nock our teeth in for getting "involved".
