Bill Clinton may be asked to testify at his wife's confirmation hearings. Senate Republicans remain concerned that as secretary of state, Hillary might run into potential conflicts of interest involving Bill's charity work across the globe.
"There are concerns about his international work across the board," a Republican aide, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Politico. "Seeking donations from foreign governments is definitely concerning. ... It has been discussed, and it will be discussed."

Neither Hillary or Bill have commented but Democratic officials say the former president has already given up fundraising from foreign governments.

Hillary is meeting this week with the committee that will oversee the hearing and might be trying to put the issue to rest before the confirmation process begins.
