What is it going to take for Blagojevich to feel the fork?

The (insert cliche synonym for "embattled" here) Illinois Governor is showing a less-than-realistic grasp of reality. A
source close to Blagojevich tells the Chicago Sun Times that he's mulling things over:
Gov. Blagojevich will decide early next week -- perhaps as early as Monday -- whether he should resign, a source close to the governor told the Chicago Sun-Times.
"He was blindsided by this," the source said. "He needs some time to digest what's going on. He's going to make his position clear shortly."
I hate to tell you this, Rod, but digestion ain't in the cards. This whole affair has been running in the opposite gastrointestinal direction.
This has got to be one of the more clueless things I've heard in a long time, not counting
PUMA websites. This is akin to Julius Caesar asking for a few days to compose his thoughts to Brutus.
The only thing I can figure is that, perhaps, Blagojevich is trying to shop around to get the biggest price for his resignation. If so, I'm happy to chip in.
