Now we have it. The much anticipated donor list of the William J. Clinton Foundation.

Full disclosure of Clinton's list was a requirement for Hillary Clinton to pass the vetting test to be named Barack Obama's secretary of state pick. Bill said he was more than happy to do awhatever it took to help his wife get the job. But why are we just getting this list now, I wonder...

The former president's foundation funds efforts such as: the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), the Clinton Climate Initiative, the Clinton Hunter Development Initiative, the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative, the Clinton Economic Opportunity Initiative, and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. The foundation also funded the construction of the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, AK.

The CGO has vowed not to host annual events outside the U.S., or solicit or accept foreign government contributions.

Here are just some of the more interesting contributors, organized by amounts donated. Other foreign government who gave money include: Brunei, Italy, Jamaica, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman.

Our New Approach to Comments

In an effort to encourage the same level of civil dialogue among Politics Daily’s readers that we expect of our writers – a “civilogue,” to use the term coined by PD’s Jeffrey Weiss – we are requiring commenters to use their AOL or AIM screen names to submit a comment, and we are reading all comments before publishing them. Personal attacks (on writers, other readers, Nancy Pelosi, George W. Bush, or anyone at all) and comments that are not productive additions to the conversation will not be published, period, to make room for a discussion among those with ideas to kick around. Please read our Help and Feedback section for more info.
