If this had been the Obama's, they would have aborted the pregnancy, plus the Down Syndrome baby. Then the liberals and their media would have heralded the decision, saying it must have been difficult but it was best for their family.

When Obama was asked the question, "When does life begin?" He said the answer was above his pay grade.

The sad thing is that there evidently is a "public" (actually, read: "media" PANDERING to such a public!) out there that is apparently willing to PAY such a figure!

I don't blame the Palin crowd in the least for TAKING ADVANTAGE of such fools though. I'm sure they can use the money(!) --- hopefully to actually benefit the specific CHILD in question. But there are an AWFUL lot of "unplanned" children out there who are not NEARLY so lucky.

I wonder how many of those who voyeuristically ogle this particular bunch will pay the LEAST bit of attention to OTHERS who are no less (or more) deserving! And the IRONIC thing is --- ONE such child MIGHT VERY WELL GROW UP TO BE PRESIDENT SOME DAY!

I am a democrat who voted for Obama. I am pretty liberal and could not stand Sarah Palin. I wanted to let you know that before I said, MORE POWER TO BRISTOL! I don't blame them for selling the photos. They need the money, and she never asked to be in the public spotlight. I thought all of the attacks on the Governor's family were terrble. However, for those of you hoping it's going in a college fund for the baby? I doubt that 2 parents who never completed High School are starting a college fund for their baby.
