Joe the Plumber/Reporter is Off to Israel

Breitbart is reporting that Joe the Plumber is headed for Israel to report on the conflict there:

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Joe The Plumber is putting down his wrenches and picking up a reporter's notebook.

The Ohio man who became a household name during the presidential campaign says he is heading to Israel as a war correspondent for the conservative Web site pjtv.com.

Samuel J. Wurzelbacher (WUR'-zuhl-bah-kur) says he'll spend 10 days covering the fighting.

Sure, Joe the Plumber is perfect. He's just as qualified to call himself a reporter as he is a plumber, and there's a huge demand here for news coverage with smaller words. Plus, who better to calm tensions in the region than the guy who said that a vote for Barack Obama is a vote for the death of Israel? Is Joe there to count it down?

I've got to hand it to Joe, though. He managed to squeeze 10 days out of Pajamas TV, when I didn't think he'd make it past his 14th minute.

If experience is any indication, Joe will just write whatever pops into his head, and then let the audience figure out if it's true or not. At least, that seemed to be the gist of his appearance with Fox News' Shep Smith.
