This is the most comprehensive interview I've seen.
Lessons she's learned?
Obviously the media double standard. Democratic families are the only ones off limits.
But the big one is about political consultants and her own political instincts. She should follow her gut on most things and I think she's learned that one now. She basically, and without naming names, said the Katie Couric interview was a stupid move, and going back for more was incomprehensible.
Also, that from this and exeriences she is not afraid of interviews at all. Expect to see more.
Also note that there are no "Ummm's" and "you knows". Compare to Caroline Kennedy. Neither of them should be judged solely on interview performance, but if you are going to judge, Kennedy is a joke.
In an effort to encourage the same level of civil dialogue among Politics Daily’s readers that we expect of our writers – a “civilogue,” to use the term coined by PD’s Jeffrey Weiss – we are requiring commenters to use their AOL or AIM screen names to submit a comment, and we are reading all comments before publishing them. Personal attacks (on writers, other readers, Nancy Pelosi, George W. Bush, or anyone at all) and comments that are not productive additions to the conversation will not be published, period, to make room for a discussion among those with ideas to kick around. Please read our Help and Feedback section for more info.
