'The Beast' Unveiled

As noted previously, President-elect Barack Obama, will be getting a new set of wheels next week when he's sworn in as America's 44th Commander-in-Chief.

Today, the Secret Service released photos of the new GM manufactured "Beast."

A spokesperson for the Service said, "Although many of the vehicles' security enhancements cannot be discussed, it is safe to say that this car's security and coded communications systems make it the most technologically advanced protection vehicle in the world."

Not surprising stuff, but a couple of tidbits on Cadillac One:

-- Limo one can survive a rocket impact and is sealed against biochemical attack.

-- Travels with replacement Obama-compatible blood for transfusion.

-- Carries an arsenal of pump shot-guns, night vision goggles and tear gas cannons.

No word on its MPG rating.
