Regarding the ongoing Norm Coleman/Al Franken battle in MN, The Atlantic's Marc Ambinder has new post titled: Provocation of The Day: Coleman Could Still Win.

Ambinder goes on to write that, "In some ways, Al Franken's 225 vote lead the Minnesota Senate race is an illusory number." Upon reading his piece, it is easy to envision a scenario where Coleman could, in fact, still retain his senate seat.

Meanwhile, Democratic Senator Tim Johnson says Congress should stay out of the decision.

... It's hard to tell where this is headed, but a few days ago, all the talk was that this was a done deal -- and that Franken would be seated.

Now, the momentum appears to have swung a bit toward Coleman. Stay tuned...

Our New Approach to Comments

In an effort to encourage the same level of civil dialogue among Politics Daily’s readers that we expect of our writers – a “civilogue,” to use the term coined by PD’s Jeffrey Weiss – we are requiring commenters to use their AOL or AIM screen names to submit a comment, and we are reading all comments before publishing them. Personal attacks (on writers, other readers, Nancy Pelosi, George W. Bush, or anyone at all) and comments that are not productive additions to the conversation will not be published, period, to make room for a discussion among those with ideas to kick around. Please read our Help and Feedback section for more info.
