Cheney to Attend Inauguration in Wheelchair

Oh my. The AP reports today that Vice President Dick Cheney will be attending the inauguration Tuesday in a wheelchair after hurting his back moving boxes.

Vice President Dick Cheney will be using a wheelchair at the inauguration, the White House says, because he hurt his back Monday while moving boxes into his new home in McLean, Va.

The Associated Press reports that White House press secretary Dana Perino says Cheney will need the wheelchair for a few days.

"The vice president is looking forward to being there for tomorrow's historic inaugural activities," Perino added, according to the AP.
