Obama Breaks Reagan/Bush 'Jacket in the Oval Office' Rule

He obviously has no respect for the Office of President, after all he is the Messiah. Next he will bring in a large caldron for boiling the goats so he can entertain his flock........the terrorists.

If this is what conservatives are concerning themselves with, no wonder they received a "thumpin" this election.

As president of the longest continuosly running trade association in the united states (the custom tailors and designers association) I am troubled by this. Not that he has his coat off when hes working but that he is allowed to be photographed so casually for the world to see. The president of the United states of America should look presidential and saddly for many years that has not happened. Look at pictures of world summits and even just plain meetings with other world leaders(often of poor countries) our presidents of past have not looked presidential in comparison . dress for the position Mr. President,

I am not surprised that he would not follow protocal. He thinks he is our Messiah and a lot of people act that way too. Next he will be smoking something in there too.

If our country is so poor and broken, how come all those "poor" people could all go down to Washington DC to watch this event. What a joke and the media is saying that 2 million people attend when it was only one million.

I cannot understand why some people choose to leave such ignorant comments. Not wearing your coat while in the Oval Office means you have no respect for the Office of the President? Note it was mentioned that it was Ronald Reagan who first instituted the wearing of a coat in the Oval Office as mandatory so does that mean all Presidents before Ronald Regan did not respect the Office of the President? I mean how many Presidents before Reagan may have taken their coats off while in the Oval Office? With all the problems President Obama has to tackle ignorant persons want to associate him not wearing a coat while someone perhaps unknown to him takes his picture as having a lack of respect for the Office of which he holds and make comments about boiling goat and hanging with terrorists! I see yesterdays departure of the villiage idiot for Texas has got some right winged blow hards panties all in a bunch! Quit your whining and deal with the fact that Obama is President for at least the next four years as we all have had to deal with Bush for the past eight!

I hope that, unlike Clinton, Obuckwheat keeps his underwear on in the Oval Office.

As to what obama wears--- why can't he be comfortable while at work. It just shows that he's ready to roll up his sleeves and dive in this mess. As for freezing aide's salaries I just wish he could cut the salaries of congress house of representatives and any other government jobs with titles. That way they would know how the real world has to live. The majority live on less than a hundred thousand a year.

I am not a fan of the man but is this really a story?

Imagine why the moral of this country is so low when the common man can't look past his/her own nose and see what a great service President Obama is/will do for this country. Against all odds this man overcame and is now the President! Thank you Mr. President for helping the common people see that we too can be anything when you put your mind to work for you, and work hard to get where you want to go in life. I believe in our new President. Good for you President Obama for taking that uncomfortable jacket off and showing America that you are, after all, still a man!
