First reported on here in mid-January, Sarah Palin's
full interview with Esquire magazine is now available, a

nd surprisingly, I found a lot to like about it.
Granted, the most snark-worthy quotes were released in those early excerpts, but as an avowed non-fan of Palin, I have to admit to some feelings of like for Palin.
First of all, there's her hatred for "bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie." I couldn't agree more, and I don't even have that
anonymous requirement. She also talks about her love of sports, her early employment as a waitress, and decries the notion that she's "hot."
She also talks about the origin of Bristol's name, which I found rather endearing, even though Keith Olbermann felt the need to
be a dick about it. I think Bristol is a nice name, and I'm really sorry she didn't get to become a sportscaster.
So, while I'm still not a fan of Palin, I thought the rest of this interview was rather humanizing. And I still support her candidacy in 2012.
Here are some of my other thoughts on Palin's Esquire interview.
Favorite Quote -
"My favorite place in Alaska is on a cold winter day in my own house, with fat snowflakes falling. In my nice warm home." I found this quote warm and almost poetic.
And Then the Princess Urged Passage of an Agriculture Bill... - Palin's mother-daughter talk with Bristol was uniquely Republican.
"Bristol, there are definitely gonna be tough parts in marriage. You have to look at those tough times and remember that you have essentially a business contract with this person."
