Most major news sources (including AOL) are still talking about Obama's announcement yesterday that he wants to cut the deficit in half, which means today's news was pretty slow.

But there was a lot of chatter amongst from the nation's Governors.

Kansas Governor Sebelius, for instance, made some news by denying that she had spoken with Obama about taking over the Health and Human Services position, which was supposed to go to Daschle.

On the Republican side, a whole bunch of Governors including Louisiana's Bobby Jindal, Mississippi's Haley Barbour, South Carolina's Mark Sanford, and Alaska's Sarah Palin say they may turn down any money allocated to their states by the stimulus package.

However California Governor Schwarzenegger says he will be happy to take his share of the stimulus package, as well as any of the money those people listed above don't want. Principles be damned, says Arnold:
"you know, you've got to go beyond just the principles. You've got to go and say, 'What is right for the country right now?'"
