Pelosi Tells House GOP to Count Their Blessings

If only wishful thinking and reality were the same thing... Start with Barry's "tireless efforts"? Laughable-all the Super Bowl Party invites in the world can't change the harsh reality of this admin's bad policies.

But Pelosi is right about one thing-the GOP is counting it's blessings-as much as she will try to blame them, this pig is her baby. Get used to the phrase "Obama Recession"-eventually even lapdogs like Tommy will be forced to use it.

I hope Nancy Pelosi does not "play nice" with the House Republicans anymore, because it's obvious it doesn't help anyway. She tried it once, with the stimulus package, and she shouldn't cave in to them again. All the House Republicans are interested in doing in making Obama look bad, to help their electoral chances in 2010. Pelosi and the House Democrats should ram through their legislation without regard to their GOP counterparts. They don't need their votes anyway.

I'm counting my blessings. I don't live in Pelosi's District, I'm not married to her and I don't live near her!

Nancy Pelosi should not tell the House GOP to count their blessings. She should tell them to go screw themselves. The GOP has already screwed our country. Maybe they can just keep their screwy ideas to themselves. I like Pelosi. She has BALLS.

I do honestly think that President Obama would like to work with the Republicans. He would have on the Stimulus, but his own party will not. This shows that Pelosi did not want to work with the other side then, and has even less desire to do so in the future.

Obama is smart enough to know that in the future he may need both sides to get things done. Party members like Pelosi have built a career on short sighted decisions. In 2-4 years she may be back to whining about being the minority party again.

Pelosi is a partisan hag. And, there's a lot of "buyer's remorse" out there among the public regarding Obama's first moves with this "Porkulous" bill. Just remember Nancy, in two years paybacks could be a bitch for you to deal with.

From the polls I've been reading the public is pretty darn pleased with Obama and the stimulus bill. And they are pleased with the other stuff he is "undoing" from the Bush years also. His approval numbers are just fine.

It is about time that the Democrats stood up for themselves. 69+ million Americans gave them that voice on November 4, 2008 and WE EXPECT them to use it often and loudly. The republicans need to finally know their place and that is to be in the minority. It is all they deserve after their 8 years of screwing the American People to protect the rich, the coporations and Big Oil.

President Obama contrary to what the republicans want you to believe INHERITED 1.35 trillion dollars in debt from Bush - and since Iraq and Afghanistan were deliberately left out of the budgets and equasions by the Bush faction to keep the numbers down - that dollar figure is actually much HIGHER. You are all whining about the Budget that President Obama is about to offer up as being unreal and glutonny in its highest form - the fact is his 3.5 Billion dollar budget request INCLUDES the WARS in Iraq and Afghanistan - something not allowed under the Bush administration.

Love it is an accurate name I'm guessing...because he/she obviously "loves it" that our new president and his fascist underlings are placing a strangle hold on capitalism in the United States.
As for San Fran Nancy The-ho...see, she thinks she has some kind of upper-hand on Republicans? I will equate this to a situation I had when I was in my teens (I'll disregard the time period for prosperity sakes), but I had a part time job at a video rental store, and a customer decided to be a total prick to me, and I guess they thought that because I was at work....that I wouldn't come across the counter and snatch them up and physically throw them out of the store? Well, this was of course not the case, and that's exactly what happended. So, the moral of the story is Mrs. The-ho..see, is that you should never underestimate anyone, anywhere, anytime. You wanna act like a total bitch and expect to NOT get jacked up....? Hopefully all of these idiots will be removed from power by force in another couple months. That should be plenty of time for the majority of America to get pissed off enought to take drastic measures.

Since the Republicans are falling all over themselves to wash Rush Limbaugh's feet with their last shreds of dignity, why do anything to interfere with that perception?
