Rush Limbaugh must be on some kind of crazed attention-whore buzz right now. He's gone from flogging

Republican leaders for
daring to (mildly) criticize him, to making offensive, irony-free statements about press "butt boys."
From HuffPo (with audio):
Look who's honoring Jake Tapper now! Rush Limbaugh, whose Octomom-like ubiquity is ensured some significant extension thanks to his use of the term "Butt Boy" -- which is always an awesome addition to the political discourse. Anyway, according to Limbaugh, CNN's Ed Henry is a "butt boy." Meanwhile, ABC's "Jake Tapper is the one guy that's outside of the butt boy bubble in the White House press room." I don't know if there's some sort of trophy that comes along with being decreed 'not a butt boy,' but Tapper should probably avoid it.
I, for one, feel honored to be insulted by Limbaugh, even if not by name. Still, I have to take exception with Rush's premise. At
my last briefing, Robert Gibbs took a pretty good grilling from the corps.
The very first question was a "Gotcha!" about the decorating budget for the residence, followed closely by a back-and-forth with another reporter on tax cuts and job creation, which Gibbs clearly got the better of.
On a day when the head of the RNC
had to apologize to Rush, when every other leader in the party bellied up to the
arguably unhinged chat host, I think it is plain to see who the "butt boys" are.
