When we last checked in on Sarah Palin's $180,000.00 RNC-funded wardrobe (back in January), the pricey thread
s were languishing in trash bags at RNC headquarters. It's March now, and Fox News has caught the scent of this story:(h/t HuffPo)
"A source close to the clothing discussion" is pretty vague, but the report goes on to say that the RNC has been mum about the garment gaffe.
Conservative website The New Majority should take some pride in the fact that they scooped Fox News by a month-and-a-half.
As a liberal, I love to recycle, and I believe my Top 5 Reasons the RNC Hasn't Sold Palin's Wardrobe still stand. I would also like to offer my services to the RNC, for a small percentage, in disposing of Palin's duds. Considering the audience for Palin-a-bilia, I expect it would be a hard sell, but not in theusual sense. Give me a week on Ebay, and you'll be able to fund primaries against anyone who steps out of line.
