Supporters Take First Steps for Sarah Palin's 2012 Presidential Run

Via the Hartford Courant, comes news that, yes, we have a winner! Which group of Sarah Palin supporters loves her the most? Answer: Connecticut's "2012 Draft Sarah Committee", who, according to the FEC, have now become the first group to officially register to raise cash for Palin's not-yet-official run for president four short years away. Let the fundraising begin!

...the committee so far has collected about $3,000.

Of course, it's early yet. Besides, how much money has Obama raised for his reelection? On the other hand, haven't these people read the recent studies that show Palin may be just too darned pretty for her own good? As Matt Lewis put it to me the other day, her campaign slogan might well turn out to be, "I'm too sexy for your vote." Well, not in some pockets of Connecticut, apparently.
