That sounds unbelievably fake. I mean, the Democrat jumps up and literally says, "Disregard everything we just said!" What? I don't buy it.

Not that I'm saying Democrats aren't being hypocritcal. That's sort of the nature of politics. Quite a few of them did say they wanted Bush to fail, so it's hypocritical of them now assailing Republicans for saying the same thing. But of course, Republicans are just as hypocritical. Remember how, if you questioned Bush at all, you were an evil terrorist who should be shot? "You can't question the president!" But now it's perfectly okay to say you hate the current president. Hmmm. Both sides do it. That doesn't make it right on either account, but it is the way things are.

I just think those quotes sound ridiculous. Audio? Video? More sources?

First at the time President Bush was facing increasing voter concern mostly over his vacationing. President Obama is facing great voter support over his efforts so far.

Mr. Carville had to give up his wish because of 9/11. Somethings are just more important than wishing for one man failure. His wish is only now being aird publically.

Now eight years later; guess what Mr Carville, you got your wish!
