Star Magazine reports that Levi Johnston's sister is making some pretty sensational claims about her brother's relationship with Bristol Palin, daughter of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin:
Gossip tabloids like Star magazine used to be ignored by more mainstream news outlets, but some big stories have been broken by them this past election cycle. The National Enquirer broke the story of John Edwards' affair long before traditional media picked it up, and they also took credit for breaking the news of Bristol Palin's pregnancy.

Governor Palin has previously criticized the media for reporting on her family, and news of this revelation could actually engender public sympathy for her. Crucial to that equation would be a cessation of further airings of dirty laundry.
I called the Governor's office for a response, but I haven't heard back yet. Stay tuned.

I wouldn't want my child around his mother and her drug problems either. He should be able to see his son, and I hope they find a way for that, but at his house with his mother is not a good environment for the child. I applaud Bristol Palin for protecting her son.

Palin and family put themselves and their personal lives out their. This is fair game, immaterial yet fair. Remember everything sara and the republicans have said about pre-marital sex, single mothers,a nd of course how they insisted bristol was getting married. I agree not important yet they made it so.

Is it fair game to write about Obama's kids? After all, they put themselves out there. They are on the mag covers, the stages. Their first day of school, their dog choice. Maybe some right wing blogger needs to break a story about a bad grade they got in class or how they were mean to someone on the playground. Of course it wouldn't be fair, but according to you left wing a**holes it's OK to pile on Palin's daughter and her personal life. I guess Tommy likes playing to a big section of the left wing constituency. The uneducated morons who get their news from the tabloids.

People need to get the hell out of these kids lives. Don't you have anything else to do but trash a young girl. I thought we were supposed to be the mean hateful people. Where is your so called compassion...you're caring about people? I don't care who this young girl's mother is. She is having to juggle raising a child, a 19 year old father, getting an education. She is taking care of her own and not asking you for a damn thing.

Yet another moronic left wing statement. She was 17 when the attacks started. If you don't consider that being a child then please stay away from the high schools. Using your logic, lets say the Messiah gets a second term and little Malia gets pregnant in 6 or 7 years. Would it then be OK to trash her in the news? Is it the leftist belief that there is an appropriate age at which trashing a minor is OK? Point is, nobody's kids should be attacked like Bristol was and still is.
