How is she so different than any other elected Republican? The vast majority of Republicans who voted against the stimulus bill had millions of dollars in earmarks in them. This is nothing new, folks.

Hellooooo ! wake up please...68 % of the earmarks in the present proposed budget are from REPUBLICANS..and the 9000 or so TOTAL are less than half of any budget proposed in the last 8 years.

Republicans had 40% of the earmarks and democrats 60%. This budget was given to Bush and he refused to sign it. Democrats held it over until after the election. After the economy turned Republicans saw the need to curb spending and wanted to trim the budget rather than enlarge it. They wanted to remove not only the democrat earmarks but their own.

Liars in Congress need not only good memories but also all the facts before they start lying.

Spending is like a drug addiction to most the members of Congress now.

We need to practice tough love in 2010 and kick some of these addicts out of the house to get rehab.

Bachman shouldn't have asked for earmarks. NO Republican, or Democrat should have requested any earmarks during this economic slump. Obama shouldn't sign anything with earmarks either, because it's wrong to be a hypocrite, isn't it.

The budget that Obama just signed, was one from LAST year, that will be with us until Oct of this year, he was tying up some of Bush's loose ends, hell, he even had to put in the war spending, that has been left out of the budgets for they past few years...

not that this matters to the cronic bitchsquad....

If you are mad about the pork, take it up with congress, Obama does not have a line item veto on this...

then you might just say, why didn't he kick out the whole thing? Well, that would have been even worse...you think congress loaded up the first draft...things happen for reasons, and those reasons are not usually evident to us, the lay person....
