Levi Johnston Says Sarah Palin 'Probably Knew' About Sex With Bristol

That's just one of a host of icky revelations from Levi Johnston's upcoming interview with Tyra Banks. There's a preview video on the show's website, and the web is abuzz:

Levi Johnston not only says he practiced safe sex "most of the time" when they were together, he also reveals to Tyra Banks that he believes Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin knew he and Bristol were having sex when they lived under her roof. "I'm pretty sure she probably knew. Moms are pretty smart," Johnston, 18, says in an interview set to air April 6.

There are sooo many worse ways he could have answered that question. In the video, Tyra asks him if the conception was due to a "wardrobe malfunction," which makes me wonder what Tyra Banks' wardrobe consists of, and what she envisions Levi laying out for the morning with his socks.

I'll get to Levi in a minute. People also has this interesting detail:

Johnston's mom, Sherry, and sister Mercede, join him on The Tyra Banks Show, talking about the gag order imposed on them during Palin's vice presidential campaign.

There's a great example of something the McCain campaign did right.

Mercede, you may recall, broke the story of Levi and Bristol's breakup to Star magazine, making several since-walked back claims. I'll be curious to seeif Tyra asks Mercede about her betrayal of Levi's trust.

I don't really blame Tyra Banks for conducting this interview, she'd be crazy not to. I don't even begrudge Levi his 15 minutes, and whatever he can get out of it. But, dude, talking about your sex life with an underage girl? That's like a schoolhouse with an exploding septic tank: it's gross and has no class.

Now that Levi is officially "off the reservation," there are sure to be more revelations for a Palin-hungry public to devour.
