Sarah Palin Turns on Levi Johnston

From Dan Fagan--The Anchorage Daily News reporter who, a few weeks back, dared to ask how it was that Levi Johnston was accepted into an apprenticeship program even though he didn't meet the actual requirements--comes a tale of how quickly fortunes change in the soap opera that is the Palin family:

Stapleton's [Meghan, Sarah Palin spokeswoman] statement went on to say, "It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well-being of the child."

Think about that for a second. Sarah Palin released a statement to the nation accusing the father of her grandbaby of not caring about the well-being of the child. How will Tripp feel the day he learns his grandmother publicly attacked his father? This is family, for goodness' sake. What won't Palin do to anyone in the way of her political ambition? If the 18-year old father of the grandchild isn't off limits, nobody is.

How will Tripp feel? Well, we'll just have to wait a few years to find out. I'm sure the soap opera will still be on the air.
