Next to Glenn Beck, Hannity remains the dumbest of the TV pundits. I am surprised he just didn't talk over Goldberg as he does any other guest who disagrees with him. He is a rude, crude clown.

I love it...I have never seen hateful Hannity so tongue tied before...kudos to Bernie for being honest about it. Hey Bernie I think there is an opening on CNN.

This is a big problem for the Republicans. If you are going to criticize it had better be significant. Between the pirates, Pizza parties and now his l'il dog Bo, it is getting kind of old.

Republican's have already been rendered politically impotent. All they have at this point is their voice o opposition. They had better save it for when it matters or they will become the politicians that cried wolf and The Big O will truly become invincible.

Let's discuss the GOP in relation to the Dems. The oprimists among us,that is most of the US, think the economy will recover. It always has. The GOP has basically said that Obama is totally clueless, totally incompetent, and he is ruining the economy. When the economy recovers, it is a slam dunk that BO and the Dems are going to call the GOP clueless and incompetent.
The economy will recover on its own, but now the federal government is throwing trillions of borrowed dollars at the short term demand deficit. It will recover that much quicker, but longer term we are setting the stage for different problems.

Unfortunate that this article spins the actual interview in a way that is a complete misrepresentation of what was actually being said.
Why am I surprised? Liberals do nothing but call people names and eat the "truth" that is spoon fed to them by the liberal media.
If people in our society began thinking for themselves, we would be a force to be reckoned with. Instead, the majority of the population (let's call them the 52% that voted for Obama) have put their brains in a jar and become blathering idiots who are blindly following a president who is incompetent (and that is the BEST thing I can come up with to say about him). This country deserves what it gets when they choose an inexperienced leader to govern our country.

Finally, something to unite not only the nation, but the world. The War on Pirates.

It's perfect. Nobody likes them, they have no real homeland and you can pretty much wipe them out without going through a lot of expensive weaponry.

I watched this and my first impression listening to Hannity was a general agreement with your comments Chris.
It bothered me to listen to Hannity marginalize himself by going 'Kostal' on Goldberg. Goldberg was right Obama made the RIGHT call, he showed BACKBONE to the pirates and the world.
Many world governments have no spine so those countries shipping firms just pay the ransoms, fueling the pirate enterprises.

On the other hand, to extrapolate the lefts argument against the WOT, Obama just made the pirates mad at us, fueling further attacks and pirate recruitment.

Obama was shrewd, announcing he gave the 'go ahead' only after the operation was a success, but he still made the right call. Come on Sean give "credit" where "credit" is due.

Hannity, O'reily and Dobbs need to retire, the dog and pony show was amusing in my generation. Times have changed, so has our tolerance for yesterday's

Many of us waited for "the economy will recover on its own" in 1976......did not happen.
We waited in 1977 for "the economy to recover on its own", did't happen. The economy did not "recover on its own" in 1978, 1979, 1980 and 1981 either.
Jimmy Carter had many of the same liberal spending policies, international kiss ass and energy windfall profits tax (cap and trade) policies we see today.

After Reagans TAX CUTS the economy DID statrt to recover in 1982 and continued to do so for the next 25 years.

We are now six months removed from record gas prices that acted as a HUGE TAX on every American, sucking billions from the economy. It is a sure thing with fuel prices less than half of what they were some six months ago the economy will improve.

How much remains to be seen. Spending 12.9 BILLION, equal to our ENTIRE US yearly GDP, may have been a liberal boondoggle to get DECADES of liberal wish list vote buying spending through under a BS "worst since the Great Depression" "stimulus" story.

Since only those over 50+ remember the Jimmy Carter 1970's that "worst since the Great Depression" BS story worked on most people.

FDR tried much the same thing and enough "Experts"
agree FDR's policies did little to end, and even extended, the great depression.
If we had the same "expert" consensus that FDR's policies did not end the depression as we have on Global Warming...ooopps I mean Climate Change now that we are in a global cooling cycle, the left would be building rockets to get off the planet before we all melt.

Those people in the 1930's WAITED an entire decade for "change" Richard, dispite HUGE government social spending on a scale similar to what Obama is doing and NOTHING happened.

Lets all cross our fingers, "Hope" for the best, that our economy will "change" for the better. Sounds like a plan.

The worst part is Hannity either completely didn't understand the Politico article, or deliberately mis-represented it. He turned it around 180 degrees. Politico correctly noted that Obama was required by law to be the person to make the call on whether to shoot at the pirates or not, and Hannity claimed they were saying that Obama was required by law to order them to shoot.

The only thing more frightening than how stupid Mr. Hannity proves himself to be on a regular basis is how many people are not only entertained by his stupidity, but think the guy has something of value to offer.

Like most Republicans you like to re-write history. Your 25 years of Reganomic recovery would take us to 2007. Igoring the recession of the early 90s during Bush 41s watch. The recession that took Clinton(a Democrat) to get ot of. How was it done???? At least in part by raising slightly the tax rates on the wealthiest Americans.
Face it the people resoundingly elected Obama in a landslide.

Sean Hannity claim to fame is being the elite representative of the President Obama haters. He will blame President Obama when anything goes wrong and will never give him credit when things go right. Hannity feels that President Obama does not have the right to exist. There are rational, intelligent people in both political parties. Sean Hannity is not one of them. When Hannity rants and raves he reminds me of Charles Manson.

There is hope for us yet!!!! if we no longer sit silently encouraging fools like Hannity. Thank "somebody" for the internet.
