Meghan McCain co-hosted "The View" today, and she followed up on her criticism of Karl Rove's Twitter life. She also criticized Rudy Giuliani's recent attack on gay marriage, and spoke with moral authority on the issue of torture:
As a punctuation mark to her appearance, Meghan later tweeted a link to fellow Daily Beaster Reihan Salam's story on Cheney's recent verbal garbage-spew at the President.
I like the way she sort of paints Rove as
the old guy going clubbing, awkwardly trying out slang on the youngsters, just barely mis-identifying current musical acts like "Justin Timberland," and dancing just spastically enough to fall short of convincing krumping.
As I've said over and over, she is absolutely right. The Republican Party is never going to grow itself when they plant gargoyles like Cheney and Rove at the gates.
