Today is May Day, also known as International Workers' Day, which was created in partial remembrance of labor uprisings during the Haymarket Affair of 1886.* Rep. Spencer Bauchus (R-AL) has identified 17 of his House colleagues as card-carrying socialists.
* Bauchus's soulmate, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), wholeheartedly agrees and supports a McCarthy-style inquisition to root out the "anti-America" double-agents currently serving in our federal government.
* Bachmann goes further, declaring that after 5 weeks on the job, President Obama had made "the final leap to socialism" and that "the Democrats are about to institutionalize cartels."
* Bachmann, yet again, announced last month Obama has gone so far as to plan "re-education camps" to indoctrinate the next generation of socialists.
* The Haymarket Affair took place in Chicago.
