A day after Joe Biden embarrassed his boss by suggesting that you're likely to catch swine flu by riding the subway, the White House announced it would be sending him to a place where there won't be any subways to scare him...Eastern Europe.
In a press release issued this morning, the Obama Admnistration showed it would be wasting no time...
The Vice President will travel to Southeastern Europe the week of May 18th and visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo. During the visit, the Vice President will meet with the political leadership in all three countries, as well as U.S. officials and military personnel stationed in the region.
Biden is slated to give two speeches in the former Yugoslavia: One to suggest that Slobodan Milosevic would have have made a better vice president than he, and another to suggest that you can contract AIDS by practicing multiculturalism.

Admittely Bachmann is not ready for prime time but she is still in MN. Maybe Biden will have some tall "dodging bullets on the tarmac" tail to enthrall us with this summer. Now THAT would be FUNNY.
Biden has been banished to eastern Europe. If he keeps this up he may be banished to the North Pole to check on the mating habits of Polar bears for the Global Warming......ooops Climate Change now right, Al Gore crowd
Not counting the launching of a missile that brings millions on the west coast under the threat of a rouge dictator in North Korea, we still have a few more months before Bidens "Mark my words, this President will be tested comes to pass.

I love Joe Biden but he really does have foot in mouth disease. Let's hope we don't end up in a war with Bosnia before his trip is over.

I suggested elsewhere yesterday that Biden's gaffes are putting him on the fast track to political Siberia. Looks like the administration might be willing to take it one step further and pack him off to the real deal.

If by Siberia you mean nearly eight more years in Washington, you'd be correct.
BTW lowercase bob, you're not a total dick. We'll agree to disagree on the issue I'm right on? Ok? Ok.
If you'd like, I think we're going to discuss Souter on the show tonight. If we take call ins, definitely call up. At least I'm fairly certain your brain stem connects to your spinal cord.
