Well, the slow clap and a little bit of my two cents.

The cringing defense that opponents of gay marriage are using more frequently these days is "Hey, I have a right to my beliefs!" This notion is inherent in the NOM spokesman's "religious liberty" argument, and it's the one that a post-NOM Carrie Prejean relies on.

As Shuster points out, and as I have, your opinions are your own, but other people's rights are not. If it was me, I'd be glad the government still allows me to be a bigot in my own church. That's how great this country is, we protect everyone's rights.

Shuster disappointed me with his tea-bagging overkill. He redeems himself here.
