Porn Star Stormy Daniels Launches Senate Campaign Listening Tour

The writers of Politics Daily have followed the burgeoning Senate bid of adult film star Stormy Daniels since the beginning, and this observer is pleased to report another development in Daniels' bid to unseat David Vitter. The Libertarian-leaning Louisianan is embarking on a listening tour of the state:

Today, the DraftStormy Campaign entered the next phase when it announced the event schedule for the initial listening tour of prospective candidate for Senate, Stormy Daniels.

Stormy will kick off her listening tour of Louisiana with a stop for lunch at The Roux House in Baton Rouge, Tuesday, May 5th at noon. She will meet with Louisiana men and women and listen to the issues and concerns they struggle with everyday.

Now, it would be easy for me to write some juvenile, double-entendre-laden piece, with caddish observations about how everywhere Stormy Daniels goes is already a whistle stop, or how she's a master debater, but I will leave that to others.


I prefer to focus on the substance of Stormy's run for high office. While she may seem to be a longshot now, imagine, if you will, the sight of eager throngs all over the state, waiting in anticipation for Stormy Daniels to come. When she gets there, the crowd erupts thunderously. In politics, perception is reality, and scenes like this will go a long way to establishing Stormy Daniels as a contender.

Perhaps David Vitter should contact my old pal, Cezar Capone, about managing his campaign. I can see the bumper stickers now...
