The Congressional Hispanic Caucus is not amused with Republican House leader John Boehner's new web ad, which features footage of terrorists, pictures of the President with the Saudi King, and directly juxtaposes the President's chummy-looking greeting of Hugo Chavez with a photograph of the President with the Hispanic Caucus.

Boehner's office issued a gutless denial, unwilling to stand behind what he did:

"This is beyond silly. The video also includes an image of the President speaking at the House Democratic Retreat in Virginia. Is the Congressional Hispanic Caucus suggesting that every Democrat in the House is connected with terrorists? Of course not. America's national security is serious. This complaint is not."
The American people are not idiots. Putting the picture of the President with the CHC right after the Chavez picture is a clear attempt to conflate the two.

Still, the video itself is so laughable, 2004 called to thank Boehner for making their propaganda look less silly. I thought I had found a promo for the lost season of 24.

Boehner and his video may be heinous, but they do make an excellent point in the title of the video, a legitimate question that deserves an answer:

The answer to that would be: Yes.
