As a typical spineless politician Nancy Pelosi DID NOT oppose EIT techniques in 2002 when the 9/11 attacks were fresh in peoples minds. Keeping Americans safe was clearly what MOST Americans wanted and few politicians, "torture or not" wanted to take a stand on the treatment of terrorists while we mourned 3000 dead Americans.
To her credit fellow Californian Jane Harman was "true to her god", after received CIA EIT briefings and opposed EIT techniques, in writing, AT THE TIME!!
Jane Harman received the same CIA EIT briefings, understood the implications of the briefings and voiced her opposition, in writing, at the time, but Pelosi would like us to believe the CIA lied to HER??

Could you iagine a Republican coming up with such a BS story in todays left leaning media environment?

Is it really worth it for the Republicans to continue to beat up on Nancy Pelosi? Whether she is telling the truth or not, let's cut to the chase here -- she is a Democrat Congresswoman from San Francisco. If Republicans really think they can mount a viable candidate against her in 2010 knock her out of her House seat in that city, go for it, and good luck to the GOP on that one. Pelosi -- not unlike other House members of both parties -- are there for life and no one will ever beat them.

It is abundantly clear that Nancy Pelosi is lying, let's call it what it is. For a person who is next in-line in succession to the Presidency reveals that she is in way over her head. It is dangerous for a person in that position to lie about such an issue because she felt that she could realized some kind of political gain.

We can only hope that the Dems themselves begin to tone things down before serious damage is done that worsens the situation. Frankly, I don't know how she gets out of this other than resigning and moving on. A loss of integrity is important to a lot of people including our allies. For eight years, the left called President Bush stupid, among other things. Now, if George W. Bush was stupid, what could one call Vice President Joe Biden after four short months?

According to an account in Newsweek, Biden told his dinnermates about the existence of a secret bunker under the Vice President’s Residence at the U.S. Naval Observatory.

Despite more than fifteen trips to the VPR over the past five years, and despite having conducted dozens of interviews about security precautions taken for Cheney and his staff after 9/11, I was never told such a bunker existed.

The obvious conclusion: Its existence was highly classified.

Well, none of the dittoheads saw or heard Phil Graham's statement of how, according to his meticulous journal keeping, which includes what and when he ate, drank, and showered, reveals that the CIA LIED about how many briefings they gave, (CIA said 3, he got 1) and that HE was invited (along with other Dems?) to only one briefing, in which POSSIBLE techniquies were discussed. He also didn't recall hearing about waterboarding. Jane Harmon took over Nancy's Chair on the Intelligence Committee when NANCY became Speaker, and that's when waterboarding, already in progress, was specified, and Harmon objected, later.

Boehner's record speaks for itself. He is one of the worst flip-floppers ever (check his record), and does NOTHING but complain and impede. He's a "company man" - make as big a noise as you can, but accomplish nothing more than that - ever! He is useless in a world screaming for repairs and unity - those are things he doesn't believe in. Republicans - the roadblocks to Truth, Peace, Prosperity, and Unity.

Nancy has showed her true colors many times and one that comes to mind is when she let the world know what SHE thinks about HERSELF and HER entitlements is when she recently raised all the hell about the airplane She was supposed to get and what type of plane to enable Her to take HER family on vacation. This is just a small thing but it is representative of Her and HER agenda.... HER. She has obviously lied to Congress and the American People and there should be an investigation to find the real truth and when She is found out she should be charged and tried for HER deeds. She is a selfserving, selfcentered lieing bitch and should be tried and when found guilty, removed from all benefits and allowances associated with HER office and never to be allowed to hold a public office again as long as she lives. She really should be tried and shot for TREASON, but I dream too big sometimes. I have no use for HER and those like HER who use their Public Office for personal gain whether it be for monetary or power. I'm sooooo sick of HER type of politician it makes me want to throw up. Wake up people, GET RID OF HER WHILE WE CAN. SHE IS BAD FOR OUR COUNTRY!!! THEN WE CAN START TO CLEAN HOUSE ON THE REST OF THOSE LIKE HER !!!!
