I love how corrupt Dylan and Ethan are. They have the gall to accuse the Swift Boat Veterans of lying but you have to read halfway down in the article to find out that the Swift Boat Veterans have nothing to do with this issue. Instead one of their donors is involved in opposing Nationalized Health Care... as is his Constitutional right.

They even lie about what his videos "suggest" you should do if you get sick overseas... there is no mention of committing suicide at all.

If anyone is lying, it's Rick Scott. Over the last five decades, while traveling in England, I've had to use their health care system on a number of occasions and found the care to not only be excellent but efficient. When's the last time you visited an American hospital's emergency room and were told at the desk what your maximum waiting time would be?

Universal Health Care IS GOING TO HAPPEN! Get over it losers, PRESIDENT Obama will not be stopped on this one. The insurance industry already sees the writing on the wall thats why they are trying to offer concessions in advance. I have already seen the video and it's a good one.... truth is hard for some people to grasp but it's a reality and we will all be losers if Obama gets his wish I'm sorry but nothing is free it all comes with a price in this case it could be your life.

I have friends in Saskatchewan and England and I have heard the horror stories first hand you do not want to wish this type of healthcare on our worst enemies

before the age of renewing your drivers license online (for those old enough to remember) just think of what you used to go through and triple the aggravation, the red tape, the endless authorizations, the incredible bureaucracy when dealing with a Government Agency for your health, your surgery, and daily well being it will be devastating.... listen to people who have lived it... it may cost you, or a loved one their life.

I see the Swift Boat Veterans are back to twisting the truth once again...but this time it won't work.

Our country should have instituted some form of universal healthcare decades ago...anybody who labels a system that allows for EVERY citizen to have access to healthcare as "socialism" is either...ignorant...or uninformed...or totally oblivious (to the reasons why 50 million are uninsured)...or elitist..or simply unaffected by disease.

What does it take to make folks understand the importance of this. Don't get diagnosed with cancer and not have insurance (esp. if you're not poor enough for medicare). You'll lose your hard earned shirt trying to pay for treatment - people in England and Canada don't.

Wake up folks. A hard working American who doesn't have job sponsored insurance and has the misfortune of developing a serious disease shouldn't have to choose between bankruptcy or dying. Enough is enough.

To the people opposed to universal insurance...hypothetical question:

What are the options for a 30 yr uninsured contract (let's say in the IT field) worker who is unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer or MS or suddenly needs heart surgery? How will they pay for these extraordinarily expensive things, huh??

What happens when they become to sick to work for a time? How will they pay?? (Forget about collecting disability as it takes up to two years and a lot of red tape before being approved/receiving one penny).

Add to that the fact that having a disease now means ongoing treatment (expensive medication and preventative follow up measures).

What's your solution? Also these same folks now have a preexisting condition that (in the future) will preclude them from obtaining health insurance altogether unless its job sponsored.

Also these same folks are not poor enough for medicare (they actually have assets and make too much money) and are under 65. WHAT NOW?

State insurance? Nah, here in Texas, state insurance is sponsored by Blue Cross, doesn't cover a preexist condition for the first year (the very reason you need the insurance) and the cheapest premium is around 300 a month with a high deductible.

So what is the solution? 50 million need a solution.

It's quite disingenuous to suggest that only the conservatives are lying. I don't think that Obama and his minions have come clean either. I think that he has a health care endgame that he's not sharing with us because it would tank his effort. Does anyone believe that the White House 'garden party' this week with the president and several medical groups was a truth mission?
