On Tuesday night's program, David Letterman's Top-Ten list focused on Sarah Palin's recent trip to New York City. Among the usual assortment of good-natured gags, one item on the list provoked an angry response from Palin herself. See if you can guess which one it was:
If you guessed No. 2, "Bought makeup at Bloomingdale's to update her slutty flight attendant look," give yourself a prize. Here's the Alaska Governor's response:
"What a commentary there," Palin said of the comment during an interview on conservative host John Ziegler's Los Angeles-based radio show. "That's pretty pathetic, good ole David Letterman."
Palin noted while in New York, she had participated in an event on the subject of autism.

Letterman?....WHO'S HE to COMMENT ON SARAH PALIN'S MAKE-UP!? I don't watch his show... I'd rather watch Jay Leno. Letterman's humor is so dry.. I had to HAVE A MARTINI by my side to KEEP ME AWAKE!!

Everyone has their own opinion. You are making quite a much bigger deal about it than needed. He has a good show, and whether or not you like him or not has nothing to do with it. He makes comments about a lot of people, and don't get this many back lashes!!!

They didn't tell the real story. Letterman's comment was about Sarah Palin's 14 year old daughter being raped by A-rod while they were at the game. That's what her comback was really about. They only took one part and posted it to make her look bad.

Loved what you wrote. I am so tired of the stations like CBS, NBC and ABC whose news programs are in the tank. By the way no one commented on the fact that Letterman got married after his kid was born. Gee, what took him so long. As to the "slutty" comments about Gov. Palins looks, I think he is jealous as his wife should be in a dog show. He also needs a new hairpiece. He should really do a top ten list about what a jerk he is. The people in this country should wise up. Liberals only attack people that they are afraid of. They must be really frightened by Palin.

Letterman is so angry. Why? Who knows for sure? He puts down anyone that is not perfect by his standards. I assume that's why he hides his wife. Now maybe he wishes she looked as nice as Mrs. Palin. He calls Mrs. Palin slutty looking. Wow, his wife is a dumpy, and old looking . Now that Letterman, he's looks kind of freaky, pervertish, old, and not so handsome! What a waste of air time.

What I find most troubling is #10. The liberals love to misquote her. She said you can see Russia from Alaska, which in fact you can. Alaska is the biggest state in the United States, from some of the islands on can see Russia. She never said you can see Russia from my house.
From day 1 (the second she was chosen as McCain's VP) the liberals have attempted to turn her into the next Dan Quayle. Guess what? You failed and continue to fail again and again and again. Sarah Palin is a superstar and will be the top draw on the Republican fund raising circuit in 2010.

You can not see Russia from Islands in Alaska. Learn some geography. Those Island you speak of are many hundreds of miles away,,,, please. The Bearing straights there is Just a few miles inbetween. When Palin said you can see Russia,,,, see was speaking of her Back Yard......But really who cares really. She was McCains downfall....amazing how so many folks turn it all around and..........My feel she is a mess and Wasilla Hillbilly is a very accurate statment

Dwain says Alaska and Russia are hundreds of miles apart. Shows his ignorance as it is only 3 miles between Big and Little Diamede Islands. Furthermore it is Bering Strait not Bearing Strait!!

I would say that Sarah Palin is dumber than a brick, but it brick makes a better foundation than Palin would be of any party. Stop trying to pretend that she's better than Obama. You all no better than that. They dumb down debates for her and she literally refused to answer Gwen Ifould's questions. She lost the debate to Biden and Obama mopped up with McCain three times. Sarah better tha Obama...get off the crack pipe.

Just saw an " interview" with John Ziegler re:his interview with Gov.Palin. I think it's safe to say that this liteweight is not destined for prime time. He's rude, crude and out'o'sight> Mostly, he can't hold his own with a semi-pro interviewer and that being the case should stay away from playing anything but home games. Like the man said" ' more horses asses than horses".

If a conservative made those remarks against a Lib, there would be calls on the Left for his castration and flogging due to the mean-spiritedness.
