Capitol Hill may have hosted presidents, luminaries, and all manner of bold-faced names, but your fearless leaders may not be prepared for the havoc that is sure to ensue when a Jo Bro comes to town.

On Wednesday, Nick Jonas, the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers band (but not the youngest brother in the family -- we know there's a baby Jo Bro), known in Tweenland as "the cute one," will testify at a hearing on government funding for diabetes research in front of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee.

Jonas was diagnosed with the Type I diabetes in 2005 and recently began appearing in a national ad campaign for the Contour Meter, which is a blood sugar level reader made by Bayer.

Nick will share the stage Wednesday with some pretty big names in their own right. Sugar Ray Leonard, whose father suffered from diabetes, and Mary Tyler Moore, who has the disease, will also testify, but we think we know which witness the high-pitched squeals will be directed toward.
