Good morning, Capitolists! It's day three of the Congressional recess, and the third day in a row we can bring you up to speed on events in your nation's capital in less time than it takes to brush your teeth. And we won't even tell you to floss.
Here's what's happening in Washington today...
* All day: Senate in recess.
* All day: House in recess.
* All day: Supreme Court out of session.
* 10:00 a.m.: The Capitolist's event of the day Based on Its Name: The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation holds a press conference on childhood obesity called, "F as in Fat."
* 12:30 p.m.: The State Department holds a briefing on the new Office of the United States Special Representative to Muslim Communities.
* 1:15 p.m.: The president holds an online health care town hall meeting from Northern Virginia Community College. It's too late to send a question in from Twitter or Facebook, but you can watch it live at www.youtube.com/whitehouse.
* 1:15 p.m.: Not content to let Obama have the virtual stage to himself, the RNC will liveblog its reaction to the president's town hall meeting on what the GOP calls his "government-run health care plan." Check out the Republican react at GOP.com/LiveResponse.
