I have stated many times that her daughter was treated horrendously. Bristol and trig should have been left alone. It is disgraceful what some posters have said. The Obama children were attacked by posters vehemently, the racist comments were awful. the diffrence with the parties was very glaring, elected officials as well as paid republicans sent many pictures, cd's, postcards, and e-mails that were racist, cruel and ignorant. The comments about sara and family were said by tasteless comedians, not elected dems or staff members.

Not more than 2-3 days ago, right here, we had a post about John Kerry's failed attempt at humor, suggesting that it was too bad it wasn't Sarah Palin missing in action out "hiking the Appalachian trail".

He's a Democrat, he's in office, and he's not the first to take a shot at Sarah Palin just for the sake of doing so.

Not that that's at all surprising. It's those on the left who are unnaturally obsessed with the woman. They vastly outnumber the small kook-fringe element on the right that still thinks she's got a realistic chance at a national political future.

We'll see if that obsession continues now that, at least from a elected position standpoint, she's out of the national limelight.

Watching the family scene at her house on the raw video running on CNN right now, it is obvious that little knowledge about this was shared ahead of time, no matter what Palin said in the conference itself.
