Hating on the Obamas
Call me indifferent.
But after reading just a few of the racist-fueled comments aimed at 11-year-old Malia Obama's fashion choices on the "conservative" "news" site FreeRepublic.com, I was neither shocked nor surprised. A little confused maybe -- as in, what's so bad about a little girl wearing a peace sign? Do Republicans hate peace? Wasn't Jesus a pacifist? Isn't that the point of the whole "WWJD?" movement?
Forgive the repetition, but I hate to say that nut-bag blog comments constitute hate speech. The Freepers mindless mouth vomit felt less like shouting fire in a crowded theatre and more like splashing gasoline on an already burning tug boat. Speech that incites violence is one thing, speech that reinforces stereotypes about a certain group of people--in this case, barefoot, cousin-marrying, gun-toting, "conservatives" -- See, doesn't it just make you cringe? -- is another. One is illegal and the other, well, we'll call it Fox News.
Some of my best friends are Republicans. (Well, not best best friends, but you get the point.) And just as I hope their picture of me and other African-Americans hasn't solely been solidified by the movie "Boyz in Da' Hood," I'm sure they're hoping a bunch of maniacs in their pajamas won't serve as their party's mascots.

You poor, poor girl. Such hate. It is not the Obama's who are hated, it is the agenda he has. He is tearing down America. I have never, in my life time, heard so much hate coming from an administration as I have this one. Racisim is still very much alive expecially since this new administration began.

The good news that as bad as things are for the Republican party, with the Dems in charge of Congress and the White House, things are only going to get a lot worse. They have no chance of winning a single state in 2012 that McCain lost in 2008. The party of white Christians is looking at the trends of the country getting darker and less religious. Their support is going way down among young and more educated voters. Their power base is now down to states with minimal DNA diversity and a bunch of old women who think the Earth is 6,000 years old and that Creationism is science. While the Limbauciles can still get together on these types of boards and engage in their favorite form of recreation, lie swapping, they are nothing more than comic relief to the reality based community.

Democrats are so lame! Obama, his family, his administration and the democrats might as well get used to criticism. Dress appropriately and behave accordingly. These people are no different from the Palin Family. In fact, due to the direction Obama has taken this country, he might as well learn to live with it because it is only going to become more critical as people lose jobs and their job loss benefits. People are sick and tired of the liberal agenda and the Obama family vacations. You might as well face it, Obama is in over his head!

I think you need to take a political science class to really learn about Obama and his administrations' agenda, as well as an elementary spelling class as well. In America we speak English, unfortunately, (should be a Native American Language), be that as it may "especially" is spelled as such; not "expecially".
