I disagree with your line of reasoning. Every intelligent man on the planet knows that if you engage in sexal intercourse there is a risk of pregnancy. It's just like driving a car. It can be fun, it is necessary, but you know you run the risk of a wreck, mechanical malfunction, death. If you choose to drive the car you accept the risks. If you choose to have sexual intercourse you accept the risks (pregnancy, disease). If you are unable or unwilling to accept the risks, park it.

Naturally you are another pro-abortion woman using that same worn out: "No one can tell us what to do with our bodies" which has become an old and sickening statement used to kill off unborn babies by the millions. But of course you call them a fetus, which seems to indicate that it is not a viable human being, even when the prgnancy is in the 8th or worst yet the 9th month. And it seem so convenient to call it a fetus when you want to abort it, but if you should suffer a miscarriage then you would say I lost my "Baby". And as far as being told what you can't or can to do with your body, it's not your body that is being murdered. It is the unborn innocent baby that have no say of what is to be done with thier bodies, such as whether it has the right to live or die. But of course the pro-abortion killers have no problem making that choice for these babies over and over again. Sad, so very, very sad.

You are right, it IS your body. But when you decide to have sex you make the decision to POSSIBLY become pregnant. If a baby could be conceived by a woman by herself, she should then have sole say in the outcome. However crude it may sound, once a woman makes a choice to have sex, I believe she gives up the SOLE right to decide whether the child lives or dies.

When I was 25 years old, my girlfriend had an abortion. I begged her to let me raise the child. I also ask her to marry me and we would both raise the child. Her answer to both propositions was no! She chose to abort the child. Now I am the proud father of 2 daughters. I often wonder who my aborted child would have been, had the child been given a chance at life. I also wonder if the childs mother has regrets as I do. What kind of emotional distress she has suffered as a result of her decission, if any. The most ironnic thing to me is: the most horrific crime is that of a child murderer, yet abortion is legal.

There is no right to abdicate responsibility because of the acceptance of risks and responsibilities by engaging in consensual sex. We all know there is a risk of pregnancy or disease when we engage in sexual intercourse. Like driving a car, if we choose to get behind the wheel we know there could be an accident or death. If we choose to drive, we are accepting the risks. By choosing to have sexual intercourse, we are accepting the risks. If we are unable to unwilling to accept the risks, we choose not to engage in the activity.
