I didn't vote for Obama, and I think he should release his birth certificate, just because it is so simple. Nothing I feel, has anything to do with race, and never has. His race is meaningless to me, his religion (with Muslim influence..) makes me uneasy, but still had nothing to do with my vote. It is his radical ideas and proven worthless economic stratagies (Socialism has NEVER worked) that I voted against.

Why is Obama spending so much on lawyers to fight the release of his LONG FORM CERTIFICATE OF BIRTH? ( This is the original hospital generated certificate that would have given his place of birth as well as the attendants and would have been signed and sealed in 1961)This document would prove conclusively that he is a NATURAL born citizen of the US ( as required to serve as President) and the matter would be closed. Instead he has only released a certification of birth which does not list the hospital or provide any names of attendants that can be verified. In fact the document he released proves nothing with regard to the NATURAL born citizen requirement since this type of document was also provided to those that were born outside of the US and thus are NOT NATURAL born citizens. This smells. He is obviously hiding something. What? Chicago politics? Most opaque administration ever?

this is not about a black man in office. Our country has rules on who can become president. His Occidental College transcripts and passport at the time says he was born in Kenya and getting the scholarship at the time required that the person receiving it be a foreign citizen. He also went by his adoptive name which was Barry Sotero. The president is stonewalling because he knows the truth. For one, I did not vote for Bush, I did not vote for Obama and I did not vote for John McCain. The birth certificate question hasn't been answered. For one thing, on the certificate of live birth, which even the leader of China has from Hawaii, it did not have what hospital he was born in and who the dr was. He can't get what hospital he was born in straight either. Since when is African a race? That is what it has for his fathers race. Back in the 60's we refered to "African Americans" as colored, black or Negro. Not African. I don't care what race a person is. I am white and I would have voted for Colin Powell if he had run. I also like Alan Keyes' views also but I chose to vote someone else. I also am tired of people playing the race card like that is the only reason to dislike him.
