There has been a lot of talk in the news lately about the town hall protests being organized. Organized by who you may ask? Well that depends on which side of the spin you are looking at. The left wants the public to think that the “evil” insurance companies are behind them, and that this is all a tactic to save their profits. They might also say that it is the Republican party that is behind this, and that it is all an attack on the President and the Democrats. The only attack I see is the attack the liberal media is making against people exercising their first amendment rights.
These town hall meetings are going to continue, and continue they need to. By the amount of liberal garbage in the media about the origins of these protests, one thing in apparent: They are scared, and scared bad. These liberals want nothing more than complete control of you life, and are willing to go to Orwellian heights to obtain it. All they can do is make the protesters out to be right-wing, Bible thumping, redneck hicks and try to discredit them at every opportunity. I have one thing to say to that: Bring it on.
Things are only going to get more heated, and the liberal media is doing nothing but fanning the flames for those who are interested in what is good for the people, not for the politicians. You want to know who is really sweating? Trial lawyers. They know that if a REAL health care reform were to take place, they would stand to lose millions in their phony malpractice suits. They have all these democrats in their back pockets, and know that if this deal goes down, and the focus shifts to them, it is going to hit their pockets instead of ours.

Another update on the devil may care thrill seeker Rielle Hunter, or Agnes McGillicudy, or whatever she was called before she executed her big scheme for personal fame. While the formerly respected Senator and husband showed himself to a shallow man who was willing to forfeit his claim to integrity in exchange for a piece of homely tail, it was the old pro Agnes who preyed on his relative innocence and vanity. I hope these two are finding it hard to maintain their "love" in tandem with the suffering and disappointment of his cancer stricken wife and mortified children.

John Edwards should take a cyanide pill. He is such a poor excuse for a human being and role model that all his children would be better off without him. I'll even buy the pill for him. Nancy Lawrence, Toms River, NJ
