Gee, that sure seems like the Republican playbook, doesn't it?

I am so sick of the Liberals attacking anyone and everyone. Palin, some plumber, a woman at a rally, ,more people at a rally and anyone who gets in their way or is not on their "same page." Noticed today on CBS's business station that the head of the union just about said he basically bought and paid for this goverment and they better all vote for single payer health care if they "know what is good for them." Guess the Unions are calling the shots. If they want to say something bad about someone what about that chump Edwards and his nutty wife for "standing by her man" for so long.

Stop whining! Political attacks happen on both sides. This isn't a liberal/conservative problem. I am observing plenty of attacks from both sides. WHen the liberals were attacking the conservatives they were ticked, now the liberals are ticked. It's politics and has been going on for my entire life and I am pretty damn old. I'm not fond of either political party, but I'm with the liberals on healthcare and I have yet to scream, threaten or demean anyone who disagrees with me. However, I have posted rather benign comments and been flooded with rude horrible comments and even had a poster on another site hack into my email. I respect your right to disagree with me and on some healthcare issues you might be surprised to find I have similar concerns. I will continue to respect those who disagree with me even if they are incapable of doing that themselves. Disagreeing is so American! I think it is more constuctive when based on facts and we leave out the name calling.

And you don't think the radical right, evangelicals want things their way and make up lies and stir up fear to achieve their goals? I suggest everyone do their homework and figure out lies propagated by all politicians and the big corporations who fund them. Then you can have an informed, intelligent response, vote responsibly and have a game plan that really speaks to the interest of Americans.

What frustrates and amazes me is that so many bright, intelligent people can't see the "Plan" to socialize America...OR...they can't/won't see the dangers involved. As some have said, just answer a few questions: (1) Do you fear the government or do you think the government fears you? (2) If Social Security is so great, why did our congresspersons and senators exempt themselves for a much better plan paid for by us taxpayers? (3) If the proposed healthcare "Public Option" is so wonderful, why did our congresspersons and senators exempt themselves in favor of a much better plan underwritten by the private sector and paid for by us taxpayers? WHY? Obama and Biden say they want us to have health insurance like theirs? Really? REALLY? Come on folks!

You got it. Put these people in an open debate and thier toast. Thats why they have to do things behind closed doors and/or simply ram things down America's throat. It's really too bad there are enough people out there that are happy enough to let the government take care of them and not question anything they do. I think thats called Socialism.

I agree with Kimi and ProPalin: He shouldn't be applauded for doing the "right thing". If he was so concerned about doing the "right thing", he never would have cheated on his wife!

Elizabeth Edwards should have told 'her husband' to move out after all she didn't do anything wrong so why should she be displaced. John Edwards has no back bone; and now to flaunt his former mistress and their child in the faces of Elizabeth and their children shows that he thinks more of himself than he does of them or did he forget he has children with Elizabeth. John Edwards also doesn't have the b@lls to ask Elizabeth for a divorce so he's forcing Elizabeth to do that part so he can cry to anyone that will listen 'Elizabeth left me, Elizabeth divorced me' to ease his small conscience..

When John Edwards first started his campaign for president I thougt that he was a outstanding canidate for president. Now he's nothing but a liar, cheat and a DOG!!!

Elizabeh please do not have a devorce, make them sacrifice. Stay with your huband. You are going o make them happy if you do that. Be a nice lady treat him the way you did before. I he has conciense he wll be bothered by that because you aretreating him nice in spite of the fact that he is unfaithful. How can we trust that kind of government official that way. Two timer,lied to the world, in the begining he knows that is his child and that whore know that he is married and destroy your family. Can Edward face his children with you. He should be ashame of himself. Its good he did not became the President. I will vote for him but I do not even trust the man now.
