Unfortunately for you, it isn't solely your country. Last time I checked there were millions of other American's (41 million) who do not have healthcare. Perhaps you should look at the entire picture instead of your small spect of it!

Liberals love to put out the lie of 47 million without insurance coverage.... 20 million don't want coverage - either they don't need it, don't want it or would prefer to pay for their health needs themselves... there are between (the liberal number) 12,000,000 or 20,000,000 illegal aliens (more realistic number) who need to go back to whereever they came from and take their spawn with them! that leaves between 7 and 15 million people who have either been denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions, between jobs or can't afford coverage....

God did not invent abortion. See God gives us free choice he allows things like that because of the free choice he has given us. God allows everything to happen good and bad. Your statement is inaccurate. You do not pay for me, I do not wish to participate in paying into a co op of thieves and I pay my health needs as I go. When the government mandates that I have to pay for everyone else, as you suggest by being a part of a socioeconomic system that I do not wish to participate in, then that makes this country a communist/socialist non free choice society.

That is not what our constitution intended. The men and women who have fought and died to preserve the "freedom of choice" and "pursuit of happiness" that our forefathers invisioned when they created this great country would not be deciding to enslave the free population with a mandate surely designed to be nothing more than a complete control over the living of each individual's lives.

Time for Americans to stand on their own two feet and only when they cannot get a helping hand to do so. It is time for the freeloaders and welfarers to be detrenched from the feeding troth...even if some of them cannot survive.

Catherine - I totally understand your position on these people without healthcare & the massive expense to us of taking care of them. But my question to you is, have you read this healthcare bill? Many people object to the language of the bill, what this administration is trying to get away with under the "cover" if you will, of a healthcare reform....Obamacare has a dishonest approach as to the expense of this bill & who will be resposible for paying for it. They are asking for unacceptable levels of government control over healthcare services, they are limiting care for seniors and the disabled, they are appointing their own special interest groups (ACORN, spelled out by name in HR 3200) to perform services in healthcare that they are unqualified for, for obvious priviledge to profit grandly from taxpayer dollars...And major experts in economics insist this will never save us any money, only cost more....I have worked in healthcare for 15 years, I see the problems firtst-hand and would love to see certain parts of the system overhauled - But this administration's healthcare reform is far from the answer - And I'm afraid anyone who is putting their trust in this reform is going to be seriously pissed when it unfolds...It's important for you to take the time and read HR 3200, or at least give it a good scan; The devil is in the details and it will give you a perspective of what this administration's intentions are.

That is because the people without health insurance are like.. the people who ride their bikes facing traffic, ignorant to the law or just don't care. Why don't we take a survey of the ones without health care, see how many own..(or happen to have) cell phones, new nikes, bling bling out the wazoo, cable TV, A Under the table Job, The new Cadillac with fancy rims..See Its all about Where the Responsible people Choose to put their money, even when we don't have much.. Walking into the ER for Non-Emergency is treated as a RIGHT for the Uninformed.. Forcing People who Pay their Dues, ie: Taxes... to Pay more and more whether it be in higher health care premiums or Taxes to a Government... Oh and back to the bike...They will get hit by a car and eventually need the Health care they don't want to Responsibly carry!! It is Each Individuals RESPONSIBILITY TO take care of this Not the Government.

When someone has both hands in your pockets trying to steal what you worked hard to make, people tend to get upset.
