This just in from a source close to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's operation: The House Democratic leadership has decided to go forward with reprimanding Rep. Joe Wilson, the South Carolina Republican who yelled "You Lie" during President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress last Wednesday. A resolution of disapproval will be introduced Tuesday by House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn, a South Carolina Democrat. After Obama's speech, Wilson phoned White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and offered an apology to the President, which Obama accepted. But Wilson breached House rules that say you can't call anyone in the chamber a liar. When the Democratic leadership suggested that he apologize on the House floor, Wilson said on Fox News Sunday that he apologized once and won't again.
