Blunt and Carnahan Are Tied in Missouri Governor's Race

The Missouri governor's race is shaping up as a tight one, with Democrat Robin Carnahan and Republican Roy Blunt tied at 46 percent each with 5 percent undecided, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll conducted Sept. 21.
Blunt, currently a senior GOP House member, is seen favorably by 57 percent of voters and unfavorably by 33 percent. Carnahan, the secretary of state, is regarded favorably by 52 percent and unfavorably by 42 percent.
Blunt has the edge among unaffiliated voters, leading Carnahan by eight points.
