Obama already has campaigned for Corzine. He did a rally at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ a couple of months ago. The problem is that Corzine has done nothing but raise taxes and kept zero of his campaign promises. He promised a slimmed down NJ government, yet has added even more people to the staff. He only decided to start fixing roads this year because he knew there was an election coming up. The roads have been awful for the past 3 years.

I hate to break this to you but being a Republican and being in the Bush administration are 2 different things. A) Most Republicans were not fond of Bush, mostly evangelicals and radical conservatives were. B) You are probably an out of state voter, so your opinion of our state means nothing because you follow only the stories the mainstream media reports on. The Democrats have been in power in NJ for many, many years and have done nothing but raise taxes all around, and increase spending on nonsense issues. The only times we have had a competent state government was when Whitman was in charge. Sure she was a Republican Governor, but everything else in state was controlled by Democrats.

Face facts Bush didn't cause the economic crisis, Clinton did by passing NAFTA, which helped all sorts of companies leave to Mexico for cheaper Labor, and his role in deregulating businesses. He is the cause, the following presidents have had to deal with it, for better or worse, mostly worse under Bush.
