Those limited government true believers were not hiding, they were complaining about Republican spending then too. Why do you think the democrats won the last election cycle. But, even as profligate as Bush was, Obama is four times worse. Conservatives are not being hypocritical, they were angry at Bush and they are furious with Obama. No drilling for our own oil, full implementation of the biggest hoax of the 21st century - Global Warming - and on and on and on....Give me Reagan and either Bush anyday. By the way - the balanced budget during Clinton administration was a result of the republican Congress not Clinton policies...

I am not sure why your post is relevant to this irrelevant article, but for your information the top 5% already pay 60% of the total taxes, an increase of 5% over the past 10 years. Who do you think you are going after? People in this bracket pay the highest real tax rate of any group, up to 34% because many of them also get hit with the AMT. Now if you really want to know who is accumulating wealth and paying the lowest tax rate, look at Warren Buffet and others like him. He pays himself a very small salary and lives off of his investment income. He pays a 17.7% tax rate.

At least Warren Buffet was honest enough to tell us the truth. He announced after the collapse of the economy under Bush, that a class war had taken place & Americans had lost.
