the epa has cost the american taxpayer trillions of dollars and yet we still let these thugs have control over every aspect of american life. from how much water your toilet uses to the hair spray you use to thetime of year farmers can fertlize, the gas you use,the water you use and how much.enough is enough. throw the bums in jail or at least fire them

I agree vtrockcrusher that the EPA can go overboard. In the early 1980's I was in my early twenties, loved 1960's muscle cars. The EPA systemically killed the cars I loved and forced us all to drive econo sh**tboxes like the Omni Pinto and Vega.

Then the Navy sent me to Naples Italy and, in 1984, I found a new appreciation for the EPA. Every building was black for the first 2-3 stories up. The building slowly turned gray for the next 2-3 stories and by the 4-6th story you could see the original stone color.

The water was BLACK. Navy personnel who happened to fall in the water were required to get hepatitis shots because of the raw sewage, Naples harbor was a giant cesspool.

Today the EPA has been hijacked by a liberal administration hell bent on saving the world at our expense. This comes just as the rest of the world has spent the last 10 years coming to grips with the fact Kyoto has FAILED. Spain has been the European model of 'Green Jobs" and now has 18.5% unemployment.

We can have SMART, RESPONSIBLE environmental protections without TRASHING our economy as Spain and California have done.
