Despite taking an outwardly disinterested position on whether a government insurance option makes its way into the final health care bill, President Obama has been quietly pressing for its inclusion. The Los Angeles Times reported Monday that the White House has been holding meetings almost daily at the Capitol and that Obama spent part of last week personally calling rank-and-file Democratic legislators.
Okay, honestly did anyone think Obama would be this bad of a president? I knew he didn't have the experience necessary but a complete flop? Who would have guessed?

In what universe do you consider him a 'flop'? Why?
It seems rather that he has moved quickly to address a large number of very serious situations, and anyone who expects quick results on any of them is living in a fantasy world. The national debt? Worse than even when Bush left. The difference? The only way to head off a full-blown depression and global meltdown was deficit spending. That was the most critical thing to be addressed economically. The debt will be next.
In the last 2 recessions, it took 15 months to recover. This Bush-era recession was worse. It's thinking worthy of a first-grader to expect everything to be fine now. Unemployment is typically one of the LAST things to recover.
Foreign relations? Clearly different now. Obama is a builder, not a destroyer. He builds coalitions, thinks ahead, does his homework. No macho blundering here. This man is respected. His reaction to the Iranian election was spot-on perfect. He knew Ahmadinejad was losing credibility, and his own people rejected him. They own it.
Health care? It WILL irrevocably destroy our economy if we DON'T enact these reforms. It's is not government takeover or socialism - people go back to school to study economic and political systems, history, civics. Beck isn't exactly a well-educated thoughtful kind of guy. He deals in tirades. It's all he's got. Vendettas.

yes there was a large group of us who knew exactly that.
you cannor hire an unqualified, uneducated, inexperienced, and not ready on day one, or any day there after, person, to run your factory, then bitch when the factory goes under. especially when you had other candidates for the job, who held every qualification you required to make your factory a huge success.
and yet that is exactly what has happened.

Isn't Obama more of a total failure and pathological liar than can never ever be trusted with your life and money?
Glad I could clear that up.

I will support the government take over of health care when our National Debt is paid off, when we no longer have a budget deficit, when the Tarp funds, stimulus packages and cash for clunkers are all repaid to the American taxpayer. And last but not least when the government manages to close and secure our borders, and deport all those that are here illegally. If the government can accomplish this small list I will be more than happy to support any kind of health care reform. Until then they have proven their inability spend, but not the ability to govern this country.

Of course he fights for public option! The majority of Doctors across the country support a government option! Do they know something you don't? Of the 48 GOP accusations against Obama and his healthcare bill, only 4 were true, about 16 to 18 were intentionally misleading by the GOP, and the rest were absolute LIES! I still want to know why Texas Gov. Rick Perry covered up a WRONGFUL EXECUTION when his own forensics group found the proof? Whats worse is he got rid of those people in forensics, installed another leader and shut down the investigation! What is he HIDING? They were only doing their job!

Would you like to know why Great Britain hemorrhaged doctors in the last 20 years? Because they know how much they can make in private practice here. It's no brainer really. You go to school all those years only to be stuck earning at a fixed rate dictated by the government. The free market makes it possible for people to achieve higher levels of excellence, service and innovation. Take that away, and people don't work as hard, put in as much effort and innovate new ways to get things done better. Why the big rush? Someone is looking for glory without considering the long range affects. You want reform? Start with the insurance companies. Don't put them out of business, but find solutions that will be acceptable to them and us. Then if the government still needs it's fix to fix everyone, let them set up a plan that covers everyone under a certain income level (ONLY). You might also fix a very broken legal system that is hooked on law suits. Doctors could also get rid of those who shouldn't be practicing. There are many ways apart from government control

really the majority of doctors want this reform.
have you actually spoke with each of them.
I know quite a few doctors, being an RN, ret. and have friends that know doctors,
and guess what these same doctors, do not want this reform. many are prepared to close their practices, and retire, many are already buying homes in other country's to retire to,
most doctors today refuse to accept medicaid, simply because it does not pay enough. do you think this new reform will be any different.
have you been watching any TV lately, they have been interviewing doctors who state they do not want this reform. and not just on FOX news

Actually, if you donlt listen to liars, the latest poll shows that 92% of doctors are against the public option because they know it means they will have their status and income cut by 75% and they will never be able to pay off their huge student loans.

Obama said, "judge me by the company I keep". We have seen the company he keeps and we are very confused. He talks moderate, but is surrounded by anti American, radical, pedophilic, tax evading, loosers. Now he wants us to trust him with a health care plan that no one seems to understand, and that His Congress will not, or can not read. Will we allow Chicago political Bureaucrats determine the quality of our health care for the unforseeable future? The Government TARP plan was a scam that ripped off taxpayers to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. When his Czars are exposed for their true colors, they resign their positions and fade away. His previous employer, Acorn has turned out to be a front for organized crime. Where will all of this end? How much more of this will the American public tolerate?

Don't you just love it when you have been duped by the government AGAIN--They said TARP would HELP US--but of course, it only helped the banks... ....as if we didnt know already? When they want money, they will TELL us ANYTHING "Treasury may have created unrealistic expectations about the institutions’ condition and their ability to increase lending.” So guess we can ADD TARP to Obama FAILED efforts--I don't WANT anything this guy is pushing
