That's why it pays to be an independent. We are the first to know when it is, and always has been, Congress, both houses and both parties in them, that has been the problem with America for just about forever.

Who created Social Security, opted themsleves out if it, then changed the law so they could steal all the money out if it, to spend it on everything no sane person would ever want - except your retirement, causing unfunded benefits of $17 trillion and giving themsleves a private plan that was too good for you?

Who created Medicare, while opting themsleves out if it, and then adding to the benefits of it without funding them, creating a $38 Trillion shortfall in unfunded benefits while giving themsleves a private health care plan for their retirement that was too good for you, and then trying to cut Medicare by $500 billion, to give it to people who don't have health insurance in America becsue they are from Mexico, while claiming that nothing will change for your Granny at all - except she will be dead after they give her end if life counselling?

Who ran up the national debt to $11 trillion over 235 years by spending money they didn't have and then doubled it to an estimated $23 Trillion the last 3 years since November 2006?

Who passes immigration laws, they are sworn to uphold, to protect our borders and then does everything possible to make sure that no border protection or immigration control actually happens even if it means rounding up adn prosecuting the few police at any level in the country who actually try to do so?

Who knows what is going on in the country before anyone else so they can invest in their own future, on inside information, and make twice the return that professional investors, who do it for a living on wall street, can?

Who gives themsleves huge lifetime retirement plans for being elected to one term in office, as little as 2 years, and gives themsleves a pay raise when ever they want - all with someone else's money?

Who are the only ones who can break any law they make and get away with it almost every time when you go to jail for way less?

What independents know is that, after all these years of insane whack job party hacks writing laws that do nothing but take away your rights while stealing you blind, there aren't any decent new laws left that need to ever be written. We know we don't need to be ripped off any more by these criminal fools elected to office every time to do nothing but screw us worse than the last ones we elected - who were the worst ever before this crop of thugs and rapists.

We know it is time to clean both houses because we are teh ones living in their filth - not them.

It's because the Congress both Democrats and Republicans are so deep in the pockets of special interest they cannot and will not do the will of the American people who elected them. The last 3 major elections have also shown that votes don't matter--because when it ends in a tie since both candidates suck and are old rich and so out of touch with the mainstream voters they can't win over anybody outside their party affiliation--its all comes down to who you know on the Supreme Court or in the state government to "decide" the election for you.

There is no fixing the problem from the inside either--we need to have a national recall on every single congressman and woman and then run the resulting elections "clean" like they do in Arizona where you have to raise your campaign funds in $5 increments from people who actually live in your district or region which means you have to meet those you will represent and ask them for their support.

There it is in black and white! Twice as many dems approve. Now can you see where these people are coming from? If this does'nt prove how mis-informed democrats are, what will?

Thank God none of these pollsters moonlight as paramedics or their patients would all be pronounced dead on arrival. They're always lagging behind on the true pulse of America by about two or three months.

Dems aren't happy because the healthcare reform wasn't rushed through in the middle of the night, because Gitmo isn't closed, because we're still in Afghanistan, because we're still operating under a capitalistic systen and because the wealth hasn't been redistributed yet....therefore this kind of poll means nothing to me.
