Tea Party Conservatives Turn on GOP Candidates

Who cares, you guys are the minority in this country. Your votes will be a mere whisper as opposed to those who support the current administrations sweeping efforts for change.

Some supporter--you can't even spell your candidate's name properly (it's Rubio). I'm a Floridian as well, and I've yet to hear anything substantive from any of the Republican candidates. Until they present ideas instead of platitudes, they can't begin to convince me to vote for any of them.

They answer is....they AREN'T.

The reality is that most who follow Dick Armey don't seem to realize who he is or where his money comes from. Having him leading a "grassroots" organization is like having the meat industry running a vegan compound..lol

Just FYI,

Most of us "tea-baggers" aren't following Dick Armey. He couldn't lead a pack of starving wolves to fresh meat. He's just trying , IMHO, to get out in front so he looks like a leader. No one has anointed him to speak for us.

What we are following is our heart, our core beliefs and our faith that the Constitution is the basis of our freedoms. What we believe in is liberty, frreedom and equality UNDER THE LAW!! Not under what a politician is or should be the law!!

I just want to know if the Conservatives we're discussing are the ones who are tied to the Radical Religious Right. If they are, no thanks, I'll pass. I would rather have a free-spending, tree hugging Liberal than a Conservative who, albeit may be fiscally conservative and believing in smaller government and all that, wants to see God taught in the schools, creationism taught in Science classes, and Christianity made the National Religion.

uh, dont most of us want smaller government and less taxes? Come on now, be honest we all do. Yes, Health care is too high, but why? I myself tend to think this is when the HMO and PPO Insurance started. More doctors had to hire more staff to fill out paperwork. The Dr had to pay out malpractice Insurance which isn't cheap. The Hospitals and clinics have all had to hire more staff to do the paperwork. When all we had was Hospitalization it cost us l80.00 per month for a family of 3. And that wasn't a bad price. It covered Hospital tests, anesthesiologists, the surgeon and the Hospital stay. And at that time I could afford the Doctors fee of 40.00 per visit unlike almost l00.00 per visit today, this is just insane. If a doctor sees 4 to 5 patients in an hour, he makes almost 500.00 per hour, who do you know is worth 500.00 an hour in this country? or anywhere for that matter? But unfortunately today that is wht it takes for that Doctor to pay his help, medical supplies, nurse, billing staff, etc. This has come to the point of ridiculous.
You think the Democrats have all the answers and no Republican has any, well how would we know, anything they offer at the table is thrown out by the Democrats before you and I ever see it.
Lets be fair here, and many of you are not.

Kathy...come on, while all the expenses you list for doctors may have a role in higher costs to us patients, don't you think the bloodsucking insurance Companies with their pre-existing conditions, exemption from anti-trust laws and over 30% profit margins might factor into the problem?? yes we need republicans and dems in congress to stand up for the people who elected them, not their corperate contibutors. God help us.

I believe there are three types of citizens, Democrats, Republicans and Americans. To the tea baggers, stop with the Obama hate, posters of him as a witchdoctor etc., and start tossing some of the blame where it belongs like the last 4 administrations. It was Reagan who gave us immigration amnesty, large deficit spending and Middle East involvement(budding up with Saddam and Iran Contra), Bush senior for continuing some of it, Clinton for NAFTA, the repeal of Glass-Stegal and the signing of the Gramm-Leach debacle and Bush Jr. for lying to the American people about fiscal responsibility and no nation building. He single handedly drove the Country down the rat hole we are currently in and none of the tea baggers and so called conservatives will admit it or take responsibility for it. When they fess up to their hypocorism the rest of Americans will join. Until then you are just a bunch of nut job noise.
